Since the end of the 90s, Manufacture CLUIZEL has been working in direct collaboration with excellent cocoa growers on all three continents. Thanks to our exclusive partnerships with them, we can work with quality beans that are richer in flavour thanks to their terroir and the know-how of the farmers.

The name “Cacaofèvier” was invented by Manufacture CLUIZEL. Although the profession has always existed, it previously had no defined name.

By investing in it, the Manufacture proposed renaming and perfecting the work involved in transforming cocoa beans into chocolate: under this name, the work of selecting the beans, exchanging them with the planters, roasting, crushing and grinding the nib into cocoa paste is now also included.

The term cacaofèvier® is therefore closely linked to the notion of quality, purity and traceability.
